I, with my students worked together on FlashyScience along the last semester. The results were unbelievable. A huge and revolutionary improvement happened to the whole understanding process. Easy, repeatable, all-time availability, and even fun experiments. Really I can’t recommend more.

Great virtual experiments that replicate the skills needed to perform the actual experiments. They're really useful, not only for distance learning, but as practice for and revision of the required experiments. For A level, the micrometer and Vernier callipers simulations are essential practice!
Rob T Physics Schoolteacher, UK

FlashyScience is great for teaching lab data skills. Data students collect in the virtual lab can be used for the same post lab analyses as in a real lab, so students don't miss any learning. Thanks!
Rachel T University Teacher (UK university)

The virtual experiment is fantastic. It is accessible by all of the students (from home as well as school so the experiment could be set as a homework - FANTASTIC)

The software is user friendly, intuitive and it looks good on the screen, with graphics that resemble real laboratory equipment. For me, what makes this software stand out is that it really makes the user think about what they are doing, rather than just blindly pressing buttons; and also the fact that random errors are built in - just like in the real world you don't always get the same answer. The inclusion of full instructions, worksheets and Excel spreadsheets is also invaluable for the busy teacher! To conclude, this software would make an excellent addition to any school physics department.

My 15 year old tutee and I tried it for the first time today and we are both really happy with it. We tried the heat capacity experiment and my tutee said it was good how it simulated a real life experiment.

FlashyScience allows us to deliver flexible blended learning for our student laboratories and replicates many features of the lab experience. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive.
